Hannah Taylor is definitely a human person and not 100 easily-distracted cats in a trenchcoat. Hannah writes speculative fiction novels, specifically upmarket fantasy blends. She is fiercely independent and adventurous, having worked in a number of careers including car sales, skydiving, government, forestry, and teaching English both in America and abroad. When not serenading her entire household (and probably the neighbors) with improvised songs, she can be found hiking in the mountains, getting lost surprisingly infrequently for someone with such a terrible sense of direction. She has a BA in Political Science from Rider University and presented her undergraduate thesis, A Return to Ideology: an analysis of the Tea Party movement and its effects on American political party dynamics at the Northeastern Political Science Association’s 2012 conference. She has two teaching certifications, a skydiving license, a scuba diving certification, and a fondness for getting licenses and certifications just because they’re life’s “gold stars.” She is currently an MFA student at Southern New Hampshire University. Though she is a Jersey girl at heart, she currently lives in Denver with her beloved cats, Bagheera and Oreo, and totally equally beloved partner, Jim.
